Description
This beautiful urn was produced in 1934 according to an online source, and stands 11 ½” tall. Stunning red knurled knobs on the spout and the lid, while the curve of the black side handles is a continuation of the curve on the lid, as well as being the perfect shape for carrying the urn. The repetitive inward curved sections of the base, which is metal, set off the deco design. There are some minor chips and scratches to the black paint. Condition overall is very good. It has a variety of light scratches and scuff marks on the chrome. There is one chip to the chrome on the spout, see close up of that area, chip is about ¼” long by 1/8” high, just to the left of the bright spot at the top left of curved part of the spout. There are some miniscule white marks on the red handles, but no chips or cracks that I can see. The black plastic handles are excellent. The stem and coffee basket are present, as is the cord. I plugged it in with water only, it began heating immediately, and the water did go up through the stem. Did not add any coffee. Originally the urn came as a set with matching sugar & cream, and a tray, but this is only for the urn itself.DO NOT PAY USING THE EBAY INVOICE. Any item over .00 will need
